Untitled

The little one
walks through the cable,
black and stretched, criss-crosses the line, sings her ancestor’s tune.

The little one shakes her tiny wings, grey and folded all the time,
gears for an unknown flight
and swoops through the thin air.

No fear of falling.

Little one knew her wings would fly.
