I’m certain light fades from the eyes first then.
From there to here all in one elusive moment;
Blackness that can’t be diluted or clung to;
No recollections or any illusion remains.

I’m not sure how long the dream-like trance
Measured in man made time constraints,
It could have been forever but it was very brief,
Instance dispersed in all possible directions.

An experience sharply etched in my mind.
Branded in unmeasured time lost yesterday
Buried in the folds of memory fading away
It’s my turn to spin the wheel of life again.
