As I gaze behind me at history’s road
I see a gaping wound which is Bleeding still.
However,
There is no need to be despondent.
Even less to be discouraged.

Today we need new vigour
Because history will be made today.
The news of the past is today’s history.
The news of today will be tomorrow’s.
We are therefore the makers of history.
